Registered & Enrolled Nurses

At Nightingale Home Care we have a growing team of Registered and Enrolled Nurses. They bring a diverse range of knowledge and experience to work alongside our Nursing & Complex Care Coordinator, ensuring tailored in-home care for all clients.
On each shift our nurses deliver skilled, compassionate, and person-centred care with precision and empathy. From the management of complex medical conditions to the provision of wound care and medication administration, they not only focus on treating conditions but also prioritise education, ensuring that patients and their families are informed about their conditions, treatments, and self-care practices.

They can assist with a range of needs but some of the more common are listed below:

Medication Management: Ensuring patients take their medications as prescribed and monitoring for any side effects or interactions.

Wound Care: Dressing changes, monitoring healing progress, and preventing infections for wounds of varying complexity.

Chronic Disease Management: Helping patients manage conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, COPD, and others through monitoring, education, and support.

Post-operative Care: Assisting with recovery, wound care, pain management, and monitoring for complications after surgeries.

IV Therapy: Administering and monitoring intravenous medications and fluids at home.

Palliative and Hospice Care: Providing comfort care, symptom management, and emotional support for patients nearing end-of-life.

Physical Assessments: Conducting regular assessments of vital signs, physical health, and overall well-being to monitor progress and detect changes early.

Emotional Support: Offering companionship and emotional support to patients and their families, promoting mental well-being alongside physical care.
